General Rules:
- Personal attacks against people or sites will not be tolerated. If you have an issue with someone or their site, take it up with them personally *;
- Do not hijack others members threads *;
- No spam (including members via PM/e-Mail) *;
- Don't "bump" threads and don't post duplicate threads *;
- Do not allow other members to advertise in your signature. This encourages spam/fake posts *;
- Don't create posts with nothing but a link or fake post. If you are going to link to a news article for example, give a summary of it *;
- Your signature *:
- You may use 1 banner with 468x60 and 2 text lines (file size smaller than 100kb) or 2 banners with 468x60 (each file size smaller than 60kb) and 1 text line;
- Do not use fonts larger than size 5;
- Do not use all capital letters.
- Your avatar *:
- You may use MEF gallery to choose your avatar;
- Upload your own avatar max image size: 120x120 (file size: smaller than 70kb).
- Members are allowed a single account/user name **;
- Do not post suspicious links *;
- Do not use proxy ***;
- You agree, through your use of this service, that you will not use MEF to post any material which is knowingly false and/or defamatory, inaccurate, abusive, vulgar, hateful, harassing, obscene, profane, sexually oriented, threatening, invasive of a person's privacy, or otherwise violative of any law including your username, banners, avatar, images, post, etc. *
- Members to members section:
- You must have at least 20 posts to create a new topic in this section (exception: upgraded members) but you are free to reply others members who have started the topic;
- To avoid problem with some e-Currencies TOS you can't write on subject or memo fields words like: "exchange", "gold", etc. ****
MEF is not responsible or endorse any trade made. You are 100% responsible for all transactions you are doing in this folder.
Newbies tips to avoid be defrauded:- Only start a trade in the money exchange section, never by pm's, e-mails or IMs (msn, yahoo, etc);
- If a new or unknown member contact you to trade by PM before contact you on the public proper forum, report him;
- Most of the case, people are defrauded on IMs after found someone on forums. Only add people on your IM's after you have done at least 5 safes successful trades for at least 2 months on public forums;
- Do not trust someone using IM's/e-mails with words "Exchanger", "Trader", "Trading", or something like that;
- Do not trust someone using IM's with unverified e-mail address;
- Before talk about trade, you must talk about security and proofs that your partners is someone you can trust;
- For security and privacy questions people don't like to provide name, address, phone, etc. So, if you cant get this info and still want to continue, you know you are increasing your risk. Ask for forums, blogs, sites, communities where he is a trusted member and have done successful trades before. Ask him to provide you e-currencies accounts numbers and/or e-mails and everything to proof he is someone you can trust. After that, use google to search everything about him);
- Remember, every time you exchange money with a unknown person, your money is at risk.
- Nio's e-Currency Exchange Service sub-section:
- If you are a new members with no references:
- you may: offer e-Gold, e-Bullion, Pecunix, WMZ, Liberty Reserve;
- you may not: offer reversible/card funded e-currency (e.g.: Paypal, Moneybookers, alertpay, etc).
- If you are a new members but you can proof you are a reputed member in others international well know forums (old member, with several posts and have done several trades before with others members) you are welcome to post in this folder, just pm Nio before for an authorization.
- If you are a new members with no references:
- * You will be warned, suspended for a week; suspended for a month; banned from MEF;
- ** Multiple accounts will result in all of them being banned;
- *** If you are found using Proxy Sites, you will be banned;
- **** If someone report you did it, you will be suspended for a month, banned from MEF.
- Please remember that we are not responsible for any messages posted. We do not vouch for or warrant the accuracy, completeness or usefulness of any message, and are not responsible for the contents of any message;
- The messages express the views of the author of the message, not necessarily the views of this bulletin board. Any user who feels that a posted message is objectionable is encouraged to contact us immediately by email. We have the ability to remove objectionable messages and we will make every effort to do so, within a reasonable time frame, if we determine that removal is necessary;
- There are a couple things we do not do here. We do not edit/delete posts from a member simply because a different member does not like it and we do not resolve disputes between members. Posts will be edited or deleted only for rules violation or when not using appropriate language;
- Staff had the final say on what is appropriate and what is not;
- We reserve the right to amend or modify the rules as necessary without prior notice.
